Take-out Systems
We have developed a range of take-out systems for injection moulding processes, all centered around a Stäubli six-axis robot. The standard configuration includes the end-of-arm tool (EOAT), a quality sample station (Q-station), a scrap station for start-up (with or without a grinder for closed-loop scrap recycling), and either stand-alone control or integration with the injection moulding machine (IMM) via OPC UA or standard EUROMAP interfaces. A conveyor belt or box-changing system can also be included.
Optional features include our AutoAlign system, vision control, and downstream packaging equipment, among others.
All systems are designed for medical device manufacturing and adhere to the required documentation standards. They can be customized to fit any type of production, and EOAT development is conducted entirely in-house in close collaboration with mould makers.

IN-MOULD LABELLING (IML)
IML technology is one of SAXE’s core competencies. We primarily produce systems with 1 to 8 cavities. These systems range from purely linear take-out and stacking mechanisms to combinations of linear take-out with six-axis label application, as well as fully six-axis solutions. The latter is typically used for low-volume production where high flexibility and rapid changeover are essential.
We offer various downstream stacking and packaging solutions, including box erection, stack handling using four- and six-axis robots, and vision inspection.
One of the key advantages of choosing SAXE as your IML system supplier is our integrated expertise in both the moulding process and IML technology.
CUSTOM DEVELOPMENT
We develop automation solutions tailored to customer needs when standard systems are insufficient. These projects often include stand-alone systems such as assembly lines or R&D equipment. Such development keeps our innovation at full speed, as we frequently face challenges that require deep problem-solving and creative engineering.
Although these systems typically require longer development cycles, we remain focused and committed to delivering successful outcomes—our track record is 100% success.
We are open to exploring even the most demanding projects in close collaboration with our customers. Through our extensive network of suppliers and partners, we ensure the right solution is found.
AUXILIARY EQUIPMENT
In addition to our core systems, we have developed a line of high-end auxiliary equipment tailored for the medical device manufacturing industry. This includes specially designed conveyor belts, sorting chutes, and box changers—engineered and produced by SAXE.
While similar equipment exists on the market, the stringent requirements of the medical and pharmaceutical sectors demand a higher level of quality and documentation. This is where SAXE truly delivers.
